At 48 years old, and a mother of two adult children, Peggy Vreeland, MSW, practices what she preaches! She is a living example of maintaining overall fitness across the lifespan and has learned, through trial AND error, that TRUE FITNESS requires balance, and that it requires CONTINUAL self-evaluation in order for us to keep up with the many changes and challenges life has to offer.
Her warm and friendly style immediately sets her audience at ease, while her wealth of knowledge and confidence inspires trust and helps them get excited about reaching their fitness goals.
Peggy Vreeland, MSW, is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She also competed in several bodybuilding, fitness, and figure competitions over the past decade.
She was the 1998 Ms. Fitness Michigan, and was recently crowned the 2010 Grand Masters Figure Champion!
She holds a bachelors degree in Psychology and a masters degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. She specializes in Interpersonal Relationships, Couples, Children and Family.

Her passion is bringing a spiritual foundation into today's perspective on FITNESS, and she is the true embodiment of FITNESS LONGEVITY. Having maintained a high level of PHYSICAL fitness for over a decade, she gives credit for that continued level of fitness to the understanding that TRUE fitness takes much, much more than just physical health.
